((Chart)) in association with BeThere.co.nz and NZ Music Month present a showcase of Christchurch Hiphop DJ/Scratch talent  at the The 1st annual Christ City Scratch Champs with live performances from Starcity (Ali and Infrared), Jay Roacher, J Dubbs, Shan, Pause & many more.
 
The night is gonna be awesome! This is the cream of the crop as far as Christchurch hip hop is concerned with $1000 1st Prize up for grabs! The competition will be very entertaining and will only go for an hour (Sometimes competitions can be a little long). Support act Jayroacher has just released his debut album and Starcity are just about to release theirs soon. J Dubbs is also a very respected emcee. Oldskool deejays Shan and Pause will fill the gaps with there musical selections.
 
It's gonna be an awesome night, not only will there be some fantastic local talent performing but also break dancers and krumpers and every kind of dancer in between will be on the floor and Winnies will heat up like never before.
