Temple NZ Music Industry Bulletin - July 2007 Thurs, 26th July 2007

This week's Bulletin has some tax advice, new Open Mic and performance opportunities, seminars, plenty of musicians required/available - and job listings if you'd like to work in the music industry. Back issues are available at www.temple.co.nz. If you have anything you would like included (FREE!) in the next newsletter, please flick karen@temple.co.nz an email by Friday. She doesn't include gig listings unless they involve an "opportunity" eg open mics.
======================================================================= =======================================================================
Karen Says This weeks non-music industry "tip" - if you have anything to include in this section - let me know! Another highly boring tip this week but very useful as it saves on time you need to spend dealing with various govt depts! The Companies Office and Inland Revenue have launched a new service allowing you to apply for a company IRD number and register for GST when you incorporate a new company online with the Companies Office. The IRD number and GST confirmation will be sent to you with the Certificate of Incorporation via email from the Companies Office at the time of incorporation. www.companies.govt.nz
