((Chart)) Wins NZ MMF Industry Champion Award

On Sunday 28th October the NZ Music Managers' Forum held its 4th Annual Music Manager Of The Year Awards where Jeff Fulton received on behalf of ((Chart)) the 2007 Music Industry Champion Award. Thanks to the kind generosity of Vodafone, BFM, Rip It Up, Juice TV, Groove Guide and Jansens Audio , the winners received fantastic prize packs made up of airtime; free press, radio, internet or TV advertisements; audio equipment vouchers and magazine subscriptions.

Manager of the Year:
Nicky and Morgan Donoghue for Hollie Smith

Industry Champion:
CHART (Christchurch Music Industry Trust)

The award ceremony followed a day of informative seminars where panels of industry experts gave advice on a range of topics including digital income, music placement in TV, films and commercials, planning, promotional plans, marketing plans and media training. MMF members were also able to personally pitch their bands to Barry Blackler from the Big Day Out.
