Guns N' Roses Play ChCh!

Reunited rock act Guns N' Roses have extended their New Zealand tour by another show to include a gig in Christchurch. Axl Rose and the boys will now perform three shows in the country as part of their Chinese Democracy World Tour - two in Auckland and one in Christchurch.

The first Auckland show on June 29 at Vector Arena has sold out, but tickets are still available for the June 30 show at the same venue. Tickets for the July 3 Christchurch gig at Westpac Arena go on sale on June 5 through Ticketek.co.nz.

Australian promoter Paul Dainty said the response from Guns N' Roses fans had been "exceptional". "We want to give them the opportunity to witness one of the biggest bands in the world for the first time ever in Christchurch."

"Guns N' Roses have not toured New Zealand since 1993 and have never played Christchurch so we expect tickets for the final show will sell out fast," Dainty said.
