Description: Music Technology - composition, sequencing, recording, public address and recording systems etc. Event management - planning and implementing a safe and successful event, health and safety, hazard and risk management.
Duration: January - December
Intake: Ongoing throughout the year
Qualification: National Certificate in Performing Arts (Technology Level 2)
Facilities: Fully equipped computer suite with industry programmes, recording facilities, common room with coffee and tea making facilities.
Tutors: Two experienced tutors - Music Tech, trained music teacher, Event Management - International Experience
Cost: Free, but certain criteria applies.
Start Date: 29 January 2007
Closing Date: N/A
Criteria: Interest in music technology and/or event management. Must have low qualifications and if over 18 years registered with WINZ.
Prospects: Composing, music production, artist & event management.
