Course Overview:
The emphasis of the course is creating music, understanding NZ Music Industry, management, instrument tuition, event management and organisation.

Audio Engineering
Entry Criteria: Keen to learn participants. Youth - 15-17 years who have left or been exempted from school with low qualifications. TOPS - 18+ with low qualifications and registered with WINZ for 26 weeks or more.
Duration: 48 weeks
Intake: 12
Description: Youth - 15-17 years who have left or been exempted from school with low qualifications. TOPS - 18+ wiht low qualifications and registered with WINZ for 26 weeks or more.
Qualification: National Certificate in Production Sound, national Certificate in Employment Skills
Facilities: Full recording studio facilities - students learn a variety of different software programmes for editing and have the opportunity to record live.

Prospects: Provides foundation skills in the music industry to move into more tertiary learning.
