The 2007 Pacific Music Awards

This year the Pacific Music Awards completes NZ Music Month with an impressive show celebrating Pacific Music and Pacific Artists. The ceremony will take place on Thursday 31st of May, the last day of NZ Music Month. It is an excellent chance to celebrate all that is great about the music this country is producing.

The show boasts live performances from prominent artists such as John Chong-Nee, Pacific Expressions, Annie Puletiuatoa, Ridlah, The Sitivis and PNC. The event is all ages and open to the public, so kids can pop along for a bit of red carpet action and to rub shoulders with some of New Zealand’s hottest Pacific talent! Plus one lucky audience member will be going home with a trip for two to Tonga! This time round there is 8 awards up for grabs! In addition, there will be awards given out to the Phillip Fuemana Most Promising Artist Award and the much coveted Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs Lifetime Achievement Award.
