Ragamuffin Children Win Alternatui Award

Counting The Beat has awarded Christchurch nu-folk duo The Raggamuffin Children the 2007 Alternatui for Best Female Artist(s). Counting The Beat is a NZ music show broadcast on a community radio station on Waiheke Island and offer a different perspective than the usual NZ music industry ceremonies - they recognise great New Zealand artists and songs that aren't in the mainstream.
