Gearloose is the musical project of Steven King, and this is his full-length debut album. Gearloose takes the words "independant music" to heart taking on all challenges from performing the music, being the producer, engineer and mixer, to creating the artwork and layout of the album packaging.

The Gearloose sound blends good ol' fashioned rock, acoustic pop, a little bit of tenderness, and seals it all with a kiss from the islands. Taking influence from as far as Sufjan Stevens and The Beatles to Radiohead and Sol Ho'opii. Lyrically the album is very raw and open, but stops short of becoming embarrassing.
