Wellington based afro futuristic roots crew Olmecha Supreme, captained by the notorious Imon Starr (Rhombus) descend on the South Island early January touring with their brand new album ' Life Muscle'.

The 5 piece all star lineup featuring NZ Beatbox Champ – King Homeboy, Myele Manzanza (Electric Wire Hustle/ Recloose Live Band & son of master – African percussionist Sam Manzanza) NZ World Battle of the bands 'Best Bassist 2006' Crete Haami (Hollie Smith band), Cuban Reggaeton Emcee – Jinetero MC and multi-instrumentalist/ MPC champ, Imon Star will tour the South Island – Queenstown, Christchurch, Picton and Nelson.

Olmecha Supreme delivers a dramatic, high energy, mesmerizing performance which transforms even the shyest of people into dancing machines. Fusing the past, present and future of all genres born of Africa and bringing traditional rhythms and knowledge to the digital realm.
