She'll Be Right Records announces release of God's Little Angle...

The second LP by legendary Canadian poet, writer and performer Jim Christy. This is not like other spoken word productions. God's Little Angle is a unique mix of lyrics and music, samples, beats, song, vocal gymnastics, rap and rock, blues and syncopated eccentricities.

The album was recorded and produced by Jody Lloyd and also features a grab bag of great chch musos such as Delaney Davidson, Le Mot Cafe, Anita Clark (ragamuffin children) to name a few. Gods Little Angle is out in Canada and will be officially released in New Zealand in mid August.

She'll Be Right Records and Catalyst literary magazine have devised a special collaborative project for Catalyst Volume 7. 7 songs, 7 poems & 7 pictures from Christchurch based/linked musicians, poets and artists in a 40 page book and accompanying CD. Each song lyric and poem will be printed alongside each other and interpreted by an artist.
