NZ Rockshops in conjunction with Sonor, Meinl and Hudson Music are proud to announce that BENNY GREB will be doing three clinics and having the worldwide release of his new DVD (The Language of Drumming) here in New Zealand in March 2009.

Benny was here in 2007 and completely blew everyone away who saw him. I don't want to use a cliche like talented, technical, witty, mindblowing because they are all appropriate. He's a talented professional with amazing information to share and a great way to deliver it.

He has been working solidly for the last eight years and has finally decided to take some time off. His plan was to come to New Zealand to do some hiking, but, we've kidnapped him for three clinics in March.

The best piece of news is that Benny has a new DVD out from Hudson Music on February 17th 2009, it's called The Language of Drumming and we have the EXCLUSIVE worldwide release of it. The people at the Napier clinic will be some of the first (if not the first) people in the world to be able to purchase it.

It's a 2 DVD set with over three hours of performance from basics to advanced, an open solo in a variety of locations, indian drumming, brass band work and bonus live material. You can check out the teaser video for it on the videos link of his webpage above.

Benny and this DVD was one of the most talked about things at the recent industry NAMM festival and January.
