The CPSA welcomes you to CPIT with a two week festival of music, food and fun. From Monday 15th to Thursday 25th February expect entertainment every lunch hour outside the CPSA Student Centre
To launch your academic year the CPSA, YOUR student association, has gathered together some fine FREE lunchtime entertainment. Check out the calendar of events which mostly happen at the hub and heart of the student community- the CPSA Student Centre, it’s the perfect place to catch up with new and old friends.
Throughout the year the CPSA also organises regular bands and bar-b-ques, NZ Music Month concerts, Environment Month and Poly Culture- a celebration of our cultural diversity.
Monday 15th.

Hooters on Scooters and their Free BBQ. Learn how to survive on your scooter with a lineup of bikes display and cheap riding courses. Funkdefyed, a funk and soul collective provide the tunes to get your groove on. Funkdefyed are a full bodied red with a base of James Brown mixed with a touch of Tower of Power, and a shot of Bob Marley with a hint of Neil Diamond thrown in.
Tuesday 16th.

Free Domino’s Pizza day with The Unfaithful Ways (pictured)
Delicious pizza and a taste of country with The Unfaithful Ways. Their shared musical interests are positioned within the realms of pop with a country and western fragrance. A taste perhaps. Having been playing together for a year, 2009 saw the release of an EP that the band might talk to you about.
Wednesday 17th.

7.30am at the St Asaph/ Madras Street corner
Bike To Tech Day. Biking to tech has its rewards. Stay fit, free parking, good for the planet and for today get a free breakfast.
CPSA Recreation Centre And Gym Open Day.
8am-6pm. Opposite the big tall NS building.
Check out what there is on offer. From fully equipped gym with the best rates in town to free to use sports courts and equipment. The best gym on campus.
Thursday 18th

Winners of the RDU RoundUp band competition in 2009 the band describe their music as Korean Pop Black Metal crossed with Miley Cyrus and or with Herpes. Get the itch on and see these jokers.

Elusive pop rockers from that big bad city up north Street Chant are the new best underground thing….. or are they? Find out and make up your own mind.
Tuesday 23rd

Last time Domino's gave away pizza there was a near riot, so get there quick or miss out!
Wednesday 24th

Speed Demo and BBQ. Wittington Ave- behind Sullivan Ave campus.
Motorbikes and cars demonstrate what effect speed has on driving.
Thursday 25th
12-1pm
Clubs and Market Day plus original rhyme meister with Maitreya.
Check out what clubs there are on campus. Sell stuff you don’t want and make a bit of coin. Register at CPSA HQ.

Ending the week with a good laugh at others expense, The Stage Hypnosis Show is only limited to the volunteers own individual untapped imagination, which is unlocked with hypnosis, taking the stars of the show (volunteers, YOU perhaps??) to a heightened awareness of their imagination to the point that it becomes their complete reality.
