Described as the coolest music on the scene today, Roots Music delivers stories from the heart and soul, city and country, rich and poor. This musical legacy stemming from America’s first-generation immigrants has inspired musicians throughout the world to delve into the rich tradition and contribute to its musical canon.

Led by Harry Harrison, musicians from Christchurch’s expansive community of roots artists, present a concert of vibrancy and diversity. Bluegrass to blues, country to cajun, the roots spread far and wide across many stylistic landscapes. This large family of New Zealand musicians welcomes you to come and share in their stories.
