Your favourite Summer Festival has been expanded into a ten day event featuring a variety of events throughout the week that showcase Lyttelton’s vibrant, creative community including art, performances, food and music.

SOUND GARDEN

Smell the roses, take in the views & dance to the sounds of VOLCANO RADIO DJs & friends in Lyttelton’s historic Rose Garden, entry off Oxford St. Enjoy scrumptious food & refreshments.

EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC
1pm SUN FEB 21
Borderline Radio presents a performance of experimental music over several floors of the Timeball Station (timed to commence when the Timeball drops at 1pm).  Performances by Stanier Black-Five, Peter Wright, and other local musicians will include recordings taken from the Timeball Station itself

SUMMER STREET PARTY
12pm -6pm SUNDAY FEB 28
A one day event showcasing Lyttelton's vibrant community. Browse through the outdoor market, listen to eclectic local bands, giggle at street performers, grab yourself a Devonshire tea at the church and relax under the trees. Performances by The Unfaithful Ways, The Eastern, Le Mot Café, D’sendantz, The Remittance Men and Aaron Tokona & Carmelita Toots – a fun day out with something for all ages.

VOLCANO RADIO BAZAAR
10-4pm SUN FEB 28th
Sweet sounds, collectable records, a place to chill, quality nik naks for sale, refreshing vodka iced-teas, friends, games, and quality treats. It's all here waiting for you at the Basement, opposite the Monster Bar.
