"Minuit have something many electronic acts studiously avoid - a sense of personality" - The NZ Herald
In Feb 2008 they supported The Chemical Brothers in Auckland's Vector Arena. An impressive trip from humble beginnings in Nelson back in 1998 where an Auckland A&R guy once said their demo was "not bad for a band from the provinces.."
Their debut album 'The 88' has gone gold, their second album is well on the way, and the limited edition GUNS EP sold out in the first week. They are currently writing album # 3 while self-releasing their previous albums in the UK and Europe this year.
The 3-piece electronic, breakbeat, call-it-what-you-like, live act have some of the more 'eccentric' and stylised music videos that have come out of NZ on Air grants, not to mention promo pics!

They're also a hard working live act, their set at AKL BigDayOut '07 enticing The Crystal Method away from the catering tent to call it 'the highlight of their day', initiating a visit by the band to LA.
They've recorded live sessions for BBC Radio 1 in London's infamous Maida Vale studios; they've hauled their samplers around the planet on two successful self-funded tours; they've played in Kosovo, Spain, Berlin, Finland, Czech Republic, Ireland, London, Palmerston Nth, Lyttelton and Russia; and their website is off the hook..
Its been a strange and mysterious career road for this self-managed 3 piece walking the oddly shaped line between being indie and selling albums - but, says Paul, 'most importantly, by some miracle, they've somehow, stuck together!'
Come and find out how and check out that website!
