Radio Active 89fm presents One love 2010. The event has been held for the past 13 years on the 6th February. A special date to all New Zealanders and the Marley family.

Inspired by Bob Marleys lyrical genius, One Love festival is arguably New Zealand's oldest reggae festival, celebrating Cultural Unity, Love and Summer accompanied by the finest live Dub, Roots and Reggae Music. Held at a Velodrome Cycling track within the lush greenery of the Town Belt, it is the perfect location to lie back on the grass and soak up the sun in celebration of Aotearoa’s National Day and Bob Marleys Birthday.

One Love is a significant vehicle to entertain and help foster goodwill among the communities of all ages and backgrounds.

There are food stalls, a licensed on-site bar, children’s entertainment, a chill-out tent and plenty of room for dancing and lounging. For the past 4 years One Love attracted over 12,000 people. As it is always a highly anticipated event, 2010’s One Love looks set to be even more popular.

Media has embraced One Love as an iconic event for Wellington on our National Day. Juxtaposing the tension of Waitangi with the tranquility of Hataitai.
