Sounds of Aotearoa will be presented on March 10th and 11th 2010, in New Plymouth, home of WOMAD NZ. For two days experience some of New Zealands finest musicians and music. The Expo includes an industry development component and general public program.

The Expo will nurture and develop strong relationships nationally & internationally
within the New Zealand music industry to those interested in the music of New Zealand.

Over two days the Sounds Aotearoa experience will provide...

1. NZ Music Showcases

  • View a number of New Zealand artists performances.

2. New Zealand Music Trade Expo

  • Visit the pulse of Sounds Aotearoa that will house exhibition booths of industry professionals, non-governmental agencies and government departments.

3. Industry Development Conference

  • The conference is a think-tank for the New Zealand music industry consisting of conference activities such as panels/forums/workshops and key note addresses. International delegates may be invited to participate in conference activities providing valuable insight, knowledge and network opportunities.
