Fri 29 May 2009, Youth Week, 9am-3pm, Tickets via WE

Take the day off school and come plan for a better city, get your voice heard! This is a conference following on from the 2007 “Moving on from Edgeware” conference. This put forward 40 recommendations and calls to action which would ultimately make sure that young people were catered for and able to be heard and contribute in the city.

Since the conference, working groups have worked on the calls to action bringing you parties and events, radio, forums and taking the views to Wellington and distributing it to various community leaders. Time has come to update the information, gather your views and to make a series of new recommendations so that we can develop a new report and continue to deliver your voice !!

• This is not one of those conferences you go to where you get inspired yet nothing happens
• This is not one of those conferences that furnishes a report that goes no where This is a conference where together:
• we put forward true and relevant youth perspectives
• We develop a plan and get cracking on it

If you are passionate, well networked, got some good ideas, want to be part of the solution to presenting issues in the city then this day is for you.
