Delorians Win Chance To Perform at BDO

Congratulations to folk-rockers The Delorians who won the RDU Big
Day Out Band Competition this morning. They sent in their track 'Dream Number One' in to RDU made the final few with the winner ultimately being decided by public txt vote.

"Good luck to the Delorians, you are carrying the weight of Christchurch on your shoulders..." said RDU DJ/spokesperson Blair Ensor. Their prize includes a free ticket for each band member to The Big Day Out in Auckland on Jan 18, and also the chance to go up against the best from around the
countr with the supreme winners will get to perform at the Big Day Out.

Stay tuned to to see if The Delorians can take it all the way and win the national prize... rocking out with Rage Against The Machine at Mt Smart Stadium on Jan 18th.
