Christchurch city in winter, the cold, the damp, the smog, the rugby louts. Don't you wish you could just head for the hills and dance away the winter blues? Massive, Christchurch's most consistent and persistent outdoor party organisers and the Psy Pirates have joined forces, forged allegiances and invite you to celebrate winter with Soulstice, an outdoor/indoor event that will take place on Saturday 21st June 2008.

To be held at Journey's End, near Loburn, the venue features a warm indoor zone, outdoor zone and ample camping and parking space - all nestled amongst the picturesque foothills in Loburn. With a massive line-up of DJ's and acts Soulstice will feature a wide variety of dance music from house to psy to drum'n'bass and everything in between.

"The Winter Soulstice has traditionally been held at Godley Heads but due to work on the WW2 buildings we are heading to Journey's End" says one of the organising team Marcus Puentener.

Remember to bring plenty of warm clothes (it'll be cold out there), a sleeping bag, wet weather gear, a torch, a tent and sensible shoes. Hot food and drink will be available, but Massive events are alcohol free, so please don't bring your own. It is better to be prepared than be cold.

Massive promise an exciting all night gig, warm relaxing spaces, and music for everyone's electronic taste. Make sure to stay for the sunrise.

Tickets are limited, so if you feel like something special to do, make the effort and be prepared for an awesome night.

Tickets are only $30 and available from the Hunters and Collectors in High St, and the CPSA Office at Polytechnic. $40 on the gate if available.
