. Formed in 1970 by ChCh guitarist Eddie Hansen, with Ricky Ball on drums, Paul Woolright on bass and Trevor tombleson vocals. Ticket were there at exactly the right time – and if the Las De Das had been like having the Rolling Stones from your own hometown in the mid 60s, then Ticket in the early 70s were our Cream. Now the sound is born again

The finalists were announced this evening at a function at Auckland’s Langham Hotel with the winning artists are set to be honoured at the 45th annual Vodafone NZ Music Awards when the red carpet is once again rolled out at Vector Arena in Auckland on October 7. The Phoenix Foundation also line up in the prestigious Vodafone Album of the Year category which includes Anika Moa (Love in Motion) and Shapeshifter (The System is a Vampire)...
