RDU is Christchurch’s most progressive radio station. Independent of any commercial network, RDU is one of the bNet radio stations, and is the cultural heart of Christchurch.

We play fresh NZ and international music, are associated with the best gigs and festivals the city has to offer, have over 60 of the city’s finest DJs and musicians on air each week, and are the hub for the arts and creative culture in this city. We also work with a broad selection of premium brands.

Forget what you thought you knew about RDU – we are much more than “student radio”. With new fully redecorated offices, a brand new IT system, this is a media business on the move.

We are looking for a full time advertising sales representative to join our stellar team.

Skills required are:
Personality and Attitude – enthusiasm, motivation and passion for what RDU is about.
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
Sales experience not essential - but you must be driven by the need to succeed.
The ability to network and maintain multiple partnerships.
Sound administration abilities.

Remuneration is a base retainer, plus one of the highest advertising commission rates around. This role has fantastic earning potential and hard workers can exceed salary indications given in this advert.

You will also be part of a fantastic group of people bringing the best of music, gigs, fashion and the arts to our airwaves.
